Instructions for living a life:
Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.

From Sometimes by Mary Oliver

January is typically the time when we hatch our plans for the year and make new year resolutions. I’ve never been particularly good with resolutions, but these words from Mary Oliver remind me to look at life with fresh eyes, to search for the joy and to write about it. What will you pay attention to this year?
