Lovely read Sarah, it's certainly made me think to stop and pause the next time I'm running the 7 mins from Kings X to my London office! Please don't feel unsettled in Yorkshire, it's full of folk who will also be more than happy to chat and of course there's proper tea!

Thanks, Jules! Lots to see in a 7-minute dash in London. Even more if you slow it down and give it 14 mins.

Glad you enjoyed this piece!

This was a lovely read and I'm in awe of all the places you've lived. I haven't travelled much and kinda live by a Proust quote 'The real voyage of discovery consists, not in seeing new landscapes, but in having new eyes.' I think you do both! You're observant in your surroundings wherever that happens to be, which is a wonderful habit to develop.

Thanks, Tina, that’s a lovely thing to read 💚

It’s funny, I had a similar conversation with someone the other day along the same lines as the Proust quote and how wherever you go, there you are. I try to remember that idea to help me stay more present.
